A copywriter will save you time and make you money
There’s nothing more deflating than creating an amazing product or service, training your staff, creating a fabulous logo and having eye-catching décor, only to have no one show up or take any interest. Words on your website, brochure, social media – your copy – needs to be professional, engaging and relevant to your target audience. That’s why you need a copywriter.
Copywriters are experts at using words to reach a targeted audience. They know how to research what your market wants to know or buy. A talented copywriter will be able to pinpoint what your buyers want and need, and be able communicate the answer to their problem, which just happens to be the very product or service you have to offer. Makes sense, right?!
Being able to employ the copywriting services of an expert to put across the value in what you have to offer takes the pressure off you. You’ll no longer need to be thinking about how to sell your product. You’ll have more time and energy to focus on perfecting your product or providing a superior service.
You’ve got enough to do to keep your business running each day without adding the pressure of finding new clients. By allowing a freelance copywriter to do the value-adding of powerful copy to your digital and print marketing, you’re making an investment in your business and yourself. New clients and consumers will be brought to your physical and online door. Converting them to paying clients is where you then get to shine!
Not convinced that words matter? Ann Handley, a current and in-demand, marketing specialist says, “In an online world, our online words are our emissaries; they tell the world who we are.”
So, get your name into the market with effective messaging about who you are and what you offer through great copy.
How much will it cost me?
There’s no standard price for a professional copywriter. Generally, the more experienced and diverse their services, the more expensive the copywriter will be.
How much time will it take me to onboard a copywriter?
Not long. Usually, an initial phone call to check your requirements. Then a content brief is taken via phone, video call or in person of about an hour. There will usually be two versions of copy for you to read and approve via email. But this is so much less time than if you had to plan, write and execute the copy yourself!
Which copywriter do I choose?
Word of mouth is always a great way to choose. Or recommendations from your own contacts. If that’s not possible, then viewing a copywriter’s portfolio from their website is helpful. Having an introductory conversation to see if you like their warmth and attention to your needs is always a good idea. Whether they fit within your budget is a vital factor too.
There are so many benefits of hiring a copywriter.
